Finally got this mat set up on my desk and the way the rotary blade glides along those printed grid lines is so satisfying. Cutting curves is way easier now that I can just spin the whole mat instead of twisting the fabric.

I was skeptical about the rotary function, but it makes cutting curved fabric pieces so much smoother. The printed grid lines are crisp and easy to follow, which saves me time on every project.

The self-healing surface actually closes up after each cut, which I didn't believe until I tried it on a quilt project. Spinning it to trim corners saves me so much repositioning.
